Paul Griffiths is an internationally renowned music educationalist. His musical roots lie in Jazz, Rock and Funk but through a lifetime of collaboration and study he has developed a unique artistic voice and workshop style that transcends musical, social and cultural barriers. For over thirty years he has worked as a creative project leader with most of the leading UK and European Orchestras, Contemporary Music Ensembles, Jazz and World Music initiatives, Opera Companies, Arts Centres, International Festivals and Conservatoires.

Paul has worked with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra since 2013 to develop and lead SCO Vibe, a creative music-making project for young people. The core ethos of Vibe is inclusivity and all Vibe projects aim to provide a positive, safe space for young people to develop musically and socially. Over recent years, Vibe has expanded to include an online course and, working with NHS Lothian Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, New Vibe, a course for young people with diagnosed mental health problems.
