VIBE is designed to bring young people together to explore their creativity and create music together with the support of a team of SCO musicians, led by composer, performer and guitarist Paul Griffiths.

In VIBE, everyone works together to create new music, which combines the playing styles and musical influences of everyone in the group. VIBE is a creative community open to all young people - there are no auditions and there is no requirement to be able to read music.

The emphasis is on trying out new ideas and enjoying making music together. So whatever music style you are into, whether you’re in a band already or just want to try something new and meet new people, come along and join us!

We are currently delivering VIBE in partnership with Scottish Borders Council and Melrose Music Festival.
