Seen and Heard
Seen and Heard was a cross-art form project for adults in Craigmillar led by our Associate Composer Jay Capperauld. Jay led the sessions, joined by artist Karolina Glusiec, alongside our Sub-Principal Cello, Su-a Lee, and Sub-Principal Double Bass, Jamie Kenny.
Participants had the opportunity to explore their creativity through a series of weekly activities that blended live music with art and craft, rooted in fun and community spirit.
The workshops were open to all, and participation was free. This project was part of a year-round programme of creative activities hosted by our partner, Craigmillar Now.
Although the name of the project refers to art and music, it is far more than that. We too, feel seen and heard as we participate, learn, encourage, and share with each other. It is an inspiring, life-enriching and heart-warming experience for us all.
