Seen and Heard
Seen and Heard is a cross-art form project for adults in Craigmillar led by our Associate Composer Jay Capperauld. Jay continues to lead the session, joined by artist Karolina Glusiec, plus our Sub-Principal Cello Su-a Lee, and Sub-Principal Double Bass Jamie Kenny.
Participants have the opportunity to explore their creativity through a series of weekly activities that blend live music with art and craft, rooted in fun and community spirit.
The workshops are open to all, and participation is FREE! This project is part of a year-round programme of creative activities hosted by our partner Craigmillar Now.
For more information on how to get involved, email tanya.mcdonald@sco.org.uk.
Although the name of the project refers to art and music, it is far more than that. We too, feel seen and heard as we participate, learn, encourage, and share with each other. It is an inspiring, life-enriching and heart-warming experience for us all.
