Bogdan Božović director/violin
Discover a programme alive with colour, character and charm this summer as the Scottish Chamber Orchestra performs under the direction of Bogdan Božović.
The evening begins with the rustic beauty of Three Nordic Tunes, arranged by the Danish String Quartet, conjuring the haunting landscapes and folk traditions of Scandinavia. Božović then steps into the spotlight for Mozart’s radiant Violin Concerto No.5 in A major, the much-loved ‘Turkish’, brimming with elegance, wit and unexpected flair.
To close, Haydn’s majestic Symphony No.104 ‘London’ bursts with energy and invention, a triumphant finale from the father of the symphony.
