The University of St Andrews Music Centre is based in the Younger Hall. This large building houses a concert hall seating up to 1,000 people and is the main concert venue in St Andrews. It hosts performances by professional and amateur musicians, including regular visits by the SCO - the University's Orchestra in Residence - a series of chamber music concerts by internationally renowned artists, weekly Wednesday lunchtime concerts, jazz nights and much more.
Tickets can be purchased directly via the Byre Theatre Box Office sells tickets and processes subscriptions for all SCO concerts in St Andrews. The box office is open 10am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday. All major credit cards, except American Express, are accepted. Postage charge of £1 where applicable.
Tickets are also available at the Younger Hall from half an hour before each concert (cash sales only), but you can avoid the queues by booking in advance.
