The Scottish Chamber Orchestra makes a welcome return to the Buccleuch Centre with a programme that is full of energy and bound to put a skip in your step! Stenhammar’s Romances are favourite pieces from the homeland of the animated and lively Swedish conductor and violinist Tobias Ringborg. Mendelssohn’s sunny ‘Italian’ provides Mediterranean flavours, Principal players from the Orchestra have fun with Bottesini’s duo for violin and double bass, and Mozart’s ‘Haffner’ brings the concert to a rousing close.
Tickets available online (below) and in person at Buccleuch Centre (Buccleuch Square, Langholm 01387 381196) or at The Midsteeple (High Street, Dumfries 01387 253383).
