What was the first concert you remember attending?

Music has somehow always been a part of my family home as my Mum was a concert pianist, although she still plays she’s not performing so much now, and my Dad a singer, so I guess sitting on the floor in the music room as a toddler whilst Mum practiced would have been a kind of concert experience?

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Listen to your intuition and take your time.

What does creativity mean to you?

Being in a space of calm where ideas can find you.

What is the first thing you do when you get up in the morning?

A big mug of tea and a cuddle with one of my cats.

What is your favourite cuisine to make, or just to eat and enjoy?

I love spicy food - sometimes a Korean spicy noodle soup hits the spot!

Our furry friends, 'Stan and Mabel', return to the SCO Live for our Family Festival this February in Edinburgh and Inverness, and we wanted to know if you are more of a dog or cat person?

A fan of both - we always had at least one of each when I was growing up. I think though, if I had to choose, it would be cats. We have two gorgeous moggies - Ruairi who is a tabby and Bláthín who is my little black and white poppet. I am also very excited to be co-presenting 'Stan and Mabel' with Chris Jarvis in February's shows in which I'll be playing Mabel!
