What was the first concert you attended?
I was very lucky in that my (non-musician!) parents were really good at taking us to lots of concerts in London growing up, so I was able to watch so many of the great musicians I was inspired by.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
I think I've always been encouraged to just do things at my own pace in life, and that’s something that I’ve tried to always remember.
Where is your happy place?
Anywhere with my close friends and family, preferably over good food!
What does creativity mean to you?
Using one’s imagination, pushing boundaries and conveying expression.
What is your favourite summer activity?
Usually, travelling! I just came back from a holiday in the Highlands, hill-walking and cycling in glorious sunshine every day though, so I can’t complain!
What is the first thing you do when you get up in the morning?
Breakfast, with a black coffee and a book.
What is your favourite cuisine to make, or just to eat and enjoy?
I could eat Japanese food every day - that is the definition of home food for me. But then again, all my friends will know me as the biggest foodie and I am very open-minded when it comes to food, I'll try anything and really enjoy any cuisine as long as it is good!
