Incredible Distance was a creative project for adults produced as part of the SCO Wester Hailes Residency and delivered in partnership with Edinburgh College and WHALE Arts. We worked with local GPs and community link workers to welcome and support participants who were referred via social prescribing.

Incredible Distance 2018
In 2018, participants created an original audio-visual installation which explores the sonic and visual identity of the Edinburgh suburb, capturing snapshots of daily life through the collection of found sound, imagery, film and original musical composition. The work was installed at the Royal Scottish Academy, the Fruitmarket Gallery and WHALE Arts, Edinburgh.
SCO - although they're high brow, they're human with heart and soul - can assimilate anyone in their music.
