From June to September 2017, we embark on an extensive programme of touring across the length and breadth of Scotland, as well as performing three concerts at the 70th Edinburgh International Festival.

Our commitment to engaging as many Scottish communities as possible is strengthened with more than 20 concerts across the country. We'll be showcasing the talents of our virtuoso Principal Players, as well as internationally-renowned guest artists including American conductor Karina Canellakis (Winner of the 2016 Sir Georg Solti Conducting Award) and Violin/Director Anthony Marwood.

In the month of August, we are pleased to present three significant concerts at this year's Edinburgh International Festival (EIF), including the EIF Opening Concert with 2017 Grammy Winner Dorothea Röschmann, eminent Finnish conductor and SCO Principal Conductor in the late 1980s, Jukka-Pekka Saraste, and the annual Virgin Money Fireworks Concert.
