SCO Percussion Academy Spring 2020

The Percussion Academy welcomes timpani, tuned percussion, and other orchestral percussion who have reached at least Grade 5 standard. Drum kit players who have some experience playing in an orchestra are also encouraged to apply. Work with our dynamic SCO percussionist Louise Goodwin to explore practice techniques and get insights into what it is like to play in a chamber orchestra.

Don't have your instrument at home? Join us in discussions about practice methods and audition tips. We can also give advice on how to create make-shift instruments at home using household goods.
