Glasgow Concert Halls Box Office: Phone 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday; 10am to 6pm Saturday.

Counter at City Halls Box Office: 12noon to 6pm Monday to Saturday.

Counter at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall Box Office, 2 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow G2 3NY: 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday.

Online transaction charge of £1.00. Postal and phone booking transaction charge of £1.50. There is a postage charge of 75p where applicable. All major credit cards, except American Express and Visa Electron, accepted.

 

Description

The City Halls is situated in the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant City, nestled amongst restaurants and bars. The traditional shoebox-style auditorium of the City Halls’ Grand Hall is renowned throughout the world for its fine acoustics. It has raked seating and a balcony. The Candleriggs Bar is flooded with light, even during the dreichest January evening.

Ticket discounts

Senior citizens – £2 off standard prices.

Under 26s, students, and unemployed people – £5 for any ticket.

Under 16s - Free if accompanied by a paying adult. Maximum of 2 free children's tickets per adult ticket. Additional children £5 each.

People with a disability – 50% off standard ticket prices for people with a disability and a carer.

Group discounts – Groups of 6 or more save 20% off standard ticket prices.

Guide dogs are welcome.

A Sennheiser infrared assisted hearing system is available. Sennheiser is an infraread audio transmission system for the hearing aid user or for those with impaired hearing. It relays the performance sound, via transmitters, to customers using this equipment.

Please note: You will be given a 'necklace type' receiver in order to listen to the infrared system with your hearing aid switched to the 'T' setting as your hearing aid will not automatically work by itself with this system. Receivers are available from the cloakroom for a £5 refundable deposit and can be pre-booked via the Box Office.

Getting here

By Car
On the M8 motorway, take junction 15, turn left onto Castle Street following signs for the Royal Infirmary/East Kilbride/A730. Castle Street becomes High Street and at the fourth set of traffic lights, turn right onto Ingram Street. Candleriggs is the second street on the left. 

QPark on Albion Street offers City Halls’ patrons a special discount for parking from 6pm-midnight – pick up a voucher as you leave the Halls. Subject to availability.

By Train
Queen Street and Central Stations are a ten-minute walk from City Halls.

By Bus
Many local service buses pass close by City Halls, either along Trongate or Glassford Street. Most are operated by First Bus.

The nearest subway station is St Enoch, which is approximately a ten-minute walk from the venue.
