National Orchestras present new Aberdeen Concert Series

The Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Royal Scottish National Orchestra present the new Aberdeen Concert Series, a joint initiative providing greater flexibility and increased savings.

Mezzo soprano Susan Bickley replaces Karen Cargill in this week's New Romantics concerts in Glasgow (18 March) and Edinburgh (19 March). Karen Cargill has withdrawn due to illness.

Cristian Mandeal replaces Louis Langrée, who has withdrawn from this week's Christmas in Paris concerts due to illness. There will be one change to the advertised programme: the concert will now open with Sibelius’ Pelleas et Melisande (replacing Haydn’s Symphony No 86 in D ‘Paris’).

Weather forces cancellation of SCO concert at Music Hall, Aberdeen
