Andrew Foster-Williams studied at, and is now an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music. He recently made his US opera debut as Leone in Handel Tamerlano with the Washington National Opera, prompting the following Washington Post review: "Andrew Foster-Williams was a delightful surprise, nearly stealing the show with his brilliant Act II aria".

Current and future concert plans include Bach Lutheran Mass with The Cleveland Orchestra and Franz Welser-Möst; Mozart Requiem with the Philadelphia Orchestra and Yannick Nézet-Séguin; Tippett A Child of our Time with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and Robin Ticciati; Levite in Handel Solomon with Orchestra Nationale della RAI and Ivor Bolton in Turin; Messiah with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and Bernard Labadie; Bach St John Passion in Leipzig with Al Ayre Espanõl; Stravinsky Pulcinella with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Haydn Creation in performances throughout France with Concert Spirituel and Hervé Niquet.

Opera plans include Fenice in Handel Deidamia for Netherlands Opera and Ivor Bolton; Leporello Don Giovanni and Albert Werther for Washington National Opera; a European tour of Mozart La Finta Giardiniera with The Academy of Ancient Music, including London and Paris; the four villains in Offenbach Les Contes d’Hoffman in Moscow; and Pizarro Fidelio in a new Tim Albery production for Opera North.

Opera appearances have included singing the bass arias in Purcell The Fairy Queen at the 2009  Glyndebourne Festival and also in Paris and New York with conductor William Christie; Zebul Jephtha with Ivor Bolton and Borée Les Boréades with Emmanuelle Haïm at the Opera National du Rhin and Zebul for Opera National de Bordeaux; Il Conte Le Nozze di Figaro at the Beaune Festival; Publio La Clemenza di Tito for ENO; Alidoro La Cenerentola for Welsh National Opera and Glyndebourne on Tour; Nick Shadow The
Rake’s Progress with Basel Chamber Orchestra; Larkens in Puccini La Fanciulla del West at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden; Golaud Pelléas et Mélisande for Independent Opera, London; Leporello Don Giovanni, Colline La Bohème, Plutone Orfeo and a dramatised version of Schubert Winterreise for Opera North and Garibaldo Rodelinda, Melisso Alcina and Argante Rinaldo at the Göttingen Handel Festival.

Concert performances have included Die Jahreszeiten with the LSO and Sir Colin Davis (also recorded for LSO Live) and with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and Paul McCreesh; Beethoven Missa Solemnis with L’Orchestre des Champs Elysée and Phillipe Herreweghe; Messiah with the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra and John Nelson; Pulcinella with L’Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo and Yakov Kreizberg; Mendelssohn Elijah with DSO Berlin under Andrew Manze; Christus St Matthew Passion with Sir Roger Norrington and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment; Creation with the Hallé Orchestra and Mark Elder and also with the Gabrieli Consort. Recent US concert appearances have included Haydn Nelson Mass with Franz Welser Möst and the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra; Beethoven Symphony No 9 with the Milwaukee
Symphony Orchestra and Andreas Delfs and the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra in San Francisco.
