It’s a question often asked of the staff at the SCO’s office in Edinburgh – what do you do all summer? When the final note of the Season’s Closing Concert fades away in mid-May, things do change a bit, but for many of us here at HQ it’s business as usual. We thought you might like to hear what we’re up to...

Back to the Studio

The Scottish Chamber Orchestra went into the studio last week to record an album of Weber concertos with Linn Records. SCO Principals Alec Frank-Gemmill (Horn), Maximiliano Martín (Clarinet) and Peter Whelan (Bassoon) were soloists in the concertos, which they had performed over the summer across Scotland.
