Principal Double Bass Nikita Naumov performs Koussevitsky's Double Bass Concerto during the SCO tour to the Highlands this week - Thursday in Stirling, Friday in Kingussie and Saturday in Findhorn.

 

During a break in rehearsal, Sub-principal 2nd Violin Rosenna East filmed Nikita playing an excerpt from the concerto.

It’s been another exciting musical season for the Chorus. The repertoire chosen each year always has something interesting in addition to some very popular works – this year has been no exception. While we work hard and to a very high standard, it’s a really enjoyable chorus to sing in because of the fun during rehearsals and the fact that we get to perform with the SCO.
