Adopt-A-School
SCO Connect is adopting a new school for 2010/11. Musicians and animateurs will be going into school every week to work with early years classes. SCO Connect wants to develop a sustained relationship with a school over a whole year.
Supersonic - Bear Hunt
Guaranteed to have children singing in the playground, this project uses the classic children's story, We’re Going On A Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen, as the inspiration for a magical journey to find the bear through a series of mini musical adventures.Primary

Supersonic - Twa Sisters
Supersonic Music Projects have been designed by SCO musicians working alongside leading composers and music educators to create projects especially for school groups. Sessions are interactive, curriculum-linked, and most of all, fun!

Everyone's A Critic
Working with a real critic over 3 months, school pupils have the opportunity to write their own reviews of SCO concerts. We will be working intensively with two schools over the whole concert season along with a journalist.
Work Experience - over 16s
During the 2010-2011 season we are offering two work experience placement opportunities for secondary school pupils over 16 years old.
Masterworks 2010
SCO Connect's flagship project for standard and higher grade students reaches over 30 secondary schools and tours to six Scottish regions every year.

Bring Your Class to a Concert
The SCO is the nation’s Chamber Orchestra, and we’d like more pupils to experience the thrill of live music, performed by world class musicians. To do this, we’re making it easier for teachers to bring their classes to SCO season concerts throughout Scotland.
Teacher Receptions
During the 2010/11 season SCO Connect is holding Teacher Receptions in all four of our regular venues in Scotland. It’s a chance for teachers to enjoy a night out on us. Enjoy an SCO concert with a special ticket deal and meet the Connect Team over a glass of wine.
