Work Experience: 13/14 - Teachers Info
Each season the SCO offers two work experience placement opportunities for secondary school pupils over 16 years old.
What's involved?
You will have the opportunity to spend time with all the departments of the SCO administration and attend rehearsals and concerts where possible. A timetable of the week will be drawn up in advance to fit around the successful candidate’s interests and available opportunities in the SCO.
The SCO offers two placements that each last one week. If you are successful, you will be based at the Scottish Chamber Orchestra offices in Edinburgh and supervised by a member of the SCO Connect Team. You must be able to commute daily to central Edinburgh, or make your own arrangements to be based in Edinburgh for the week.
The Scottish Chamber Orchestra is unable to offer any financial assistance to pupils undertaking work experience.
