SCO VIBE is a new fusion band led by internationally renowned animateur and guitarist Paul Griffiths, open to young musicians aged 11-18 living in Edinburgh.  Influenced by the group members and the musical styles that they love, the band meets in the holidays to work with players from the SCO and instrumental instructors from the City of Edinburgh Council to write and perform their own music.

SCO VIBE is open to all singers and instrumentalists from clarinets to keyboards, bass guitars to trombones, sitars to drummers.  Pupils must have been learning for at least a year.

SCO VIBE April Course Application form (word format)

SCO VIBE has a limited number of spaces on each instrument which means that we may not be able to accept all instrumentalists on their preferred instrument.  If this happens, we will hold a place for them as vocalists and they can decide whether they would still like to take up that place.
