The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
(formerly The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama) is Scotland’s national conservatoire, offering performance based training to almost 800 students from around 45 countries. It is the only conservatoire in the UK to offer music, dance and drama.

Its programmes include Music (classical, composition, contemporary, conducting, jazz, opera, Scottish traditional), Modern Ballet, Acting, Digital Film and TV, Technical and Production Arts, Contemporary Performance Practice, Classical and Contemporary Text, Arts in Social Contexts and well-reputed Research degrees.

It also provides opportunities for young people and adults, including specialist short courses, Summer Schools and the Junior Academy of Music.

It is based in two campuses in Glasgow city centre with six professional performance venues, and stages over 450 public performances a year by students, staff and visiting internationally renowned artists, including concerts, recitals, plays, contemporary performance, opera, panto, dance, masterclasses, and more.
