SCO Connect

The Scottish Chamber Orchestra is the nation's Chamber Orchestra, and here at SCO Connect we are committed to providing opportunities for anybody in Scotland to get closer to the music.

Schools can engage with SCO Connect through our wide-ranging programme of creative education projects and we've made it easier for teachers to introduce their pupils to the thrill of live music with our Bring Your Class to a Concert scheme.

There are opportunities for families to get involved including free family music workshops 'Can a Painting Make a Sound', opportunities to meet our musicians at the UNESCO Family Day in Glasgow and at our baby friendly concerts Big Ears, Little Ears.

Young musicians can create music with SCO musicians through the SCO Vibe fusion band.

Through Lifelong Learning we give hundreds of amateur musicians across the country the chance to experience the feeling of sitting in an orchestra with Scrapers & Tooters and the St. Andrews and Fife Community Orchestra.

Keep up to date with the life of the orchestra online through short films and interviews and behind-the-scenes news from players in our Blog.

If you've taken part before, welcome back! If it's your first time, we look forward to meeting you.

SCO Vibe is support by CashBack for Communties through Creative Scotland's CashBack for Creativity Programme.
