Join Alison Mitchell, Principal Flute, as she takes music - plus splashy tuning forks, bottles and drinking straws! - to the heart of Glasgow Science Centre.
This event is linked to the Glasgow Family Fun Music Day on 24th September 2011
Over the course of four sessions higher and advanced higher students work with composer Stephen Deazley and three SCO musicians, to create individual new compositions inspired by concepts/ideas from science and space.
At the final session in September, a recording will be made of the finished compositions and they will also be performed by the SCO musicians on 24th September at the Family Fun Music Day at Glasgow City Halls.
This project is run in partnership with East Ayrshire Council and Glasgow Science Centre.
