SCO Connect events

StAnza 2011 is celebrating the centenary of the great Scottish poet Sorley MacLean (Somhairle MacGill-Eain). To mark this occasion soloists from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra join the St Andrews University Chamber Orchestra in a concert featuring winning compositions from young composers of new settings for Sorley MacLean poems, together with a reading of the poems in their original Gaelic by this year’s Poet In Residence.
