The Inspiring Change team visit Shotts Prison to create an opera with the prisoners. Today is performance day.
This free event is a great opportuntiy to sing as part of a choir with SCO Chorusmaster Gregory Batsleer and meet other people. It's your chance to perform on the Usher Hall stage and see behind the scenes at a worl-class concert hall.
Repertoire will include popular classics such as Zadok the Priest, and you don't need to bring anything other than yourself and some enthusiasm. We'll even provide the pencils! Everyone is welcome to attend the come and sing day, however the ability to read music and knowledge of choral singing is recommended, as participants will be required to work and sing from scores.
