Isabelle van Keulen was hugely popular with audiences on the SCO Strings 2010 Tour, and she returns this summer with a programme of Divertimenti by Mozart and Bartók; Grieg’s wonderful, folk-inspired Holberg Suite and Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires. This entertaining arrangement takes Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla’s tango-inspired work and combines it with allusions to Vivaldi's Four Seasons, with an equally virtuoso requirement of the violin soloist.
